The Princeton Review recognized UAB’s Graduate School as one of the leading collegiate institutions for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Collat School of Business was ranked No. 48 on The Princeton Review’s Top Graduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies 2021 list.

Since 2006, The Princeton Review has compiled two school lists annually — an undergraduate and a graduate. Each list ranks the top 50 schools considered the best in the country for students aspiring to become entrepreneurs. In 2021, UAB will enter the rankings for the first time.

The 2021 program rankings are based on more than 300 undergraduate and graduate schools’ entrepreneurship programs. In June-August 2020, The Princeton Review surveyed administrators at those schools. The survey had more than 60 questions, and more than 40 data points were analyzed to tally the rankings.

“We have strong leadership, amazing faculty and staff, and very talented entrepreneurship students at UAB,” said Patrick J. Murphy, Goodrich Chair and professor. “In recent years, UAB has focused more strategically on entrepreneurship education. The Birmingham entrepreneurial ecosystem enables us to augment a world-class educational experience with outreach engagements, joint programs and staunch community support. All of these elements make our entrepreneurship program very competitive.”
