Birmingham foot soldiers’ stories revisited

Retired UAB professor Horace Huntley, Ph.D., will discuss his book on the history of the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham.

On Oct. 10, 2011, retired UAB history professor Horace Huntley, Ph.D., will discuss his book Foot Soldiers for Democracy: The Men, Women and Children of the Birmingham Civil Rights Movement. The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the Hill University Center Great Hall, 1400 University Blvd.
