1917 Clinic chaplain receives prestigious induction

Through his work at the 1917 Clinic, he has participated in several research projects that have been published in scientific journals.

The Rev. Christopher M. Hamlin, chaplain for the 1917 Clinic, has been inducted to the Board of Preachers for the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel on the campus of Morehouse College.

Hamlin, who also serves as pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, has been living and serving in Birmingham since 1990. Through his work at the 1917 Clinic, he has participated in several research projects that have been published in scientific journals. Hamlin also serves on the Governor’s Commission on HIV/AIDS.
