The Mervyn H. Sterne Library is the 56th most social media friendly college library in the nation, according to LibraryScienceList.com.
LibraryScienceList.com is “a hip library science social community for librarians around the world,” according to its website. It reviewed 442 college and university libraries and ranked the Top 100. Sterne was noted because of a social media presence that includes 577 likes on Facebook and 343 followers on Twitter and accounts on YouTube, Pinterest and Flickr.
Only three Alabama university libraries made the top 100 list.
