MPH/MBAThe University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Master of Public Health/Master of Business Administration program has been ranked No. 1 in the “Top 50 Best Value Dual MBA and MPH Degrees of 2016” by the website valuecolleges.com.

UAB’s advanced dual degree program, which is 100 percent online, was recently announced as a new addition to UAB’s curricula and joint venture between the Collat School of Business and the School of Public Health. The dual-degree program is launching this fall semester.

As changes in the health care delivery system in the United States have created a substantial demand for persons with both public health backgrounds and business administration skills, the pursuit of the MPH and MBA degrees has become an attractive option for many in this field.

“UAB’s expertise in medicine and business come together in the dual MPH/MBA degree program. The Collat School of Business and the School of Public Health at UAB have combined their programs to prepare the kinds of world-changing managers the public health field will need for the future,” Valuecolleges.com said about the ranking.

UAB is specifically recognized for its Associate to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation, and Council on Education for Public Health accreditation for public health.
