Moradi, Associate Dean of Research for School of Engineering, Director of EITD, and professor of Mechanical Engineering specializes in the areas of design and development of experiment payload for NASA’s International Space Station. She is currently working on a project teaching residents how to address sensitive medical health issues that adolescents and teens face, specifically suicide. She thinks through dangers and risks that children and teens face to find real world solutions. Dye provides medical perspective for parents as they tackle tough issues.
EITD is a multidisciplinary organization composed of 37 engineers and technicians with expertise in hardware development and prototyping. His most recent work involves development of cryogenic and freezer technologies for rapid freezing and preservation of science samples on the International Space Station. Other areas of expertise include analysis, design, test, verification, and management of complex systems and programs for DoD, DoE, Nuclear, Rail, and Automotive industries.
