As an OBGYN, Harper is an expert in the field of maternal-fetal medicine with a specialization in mothers who have substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. As the director of UAB’s Comprehensive Addiction and Pregnancy Program, Harper oversees the prenatal and postpartum treatment of this population of mothers and is committed to helping at-risk mothers have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. The CAPP program is dedicated to providing wrap around care to help keep families intact.
