- Infections in women and pregnancy including HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, malaria, hepatitis B and Zika virus.
Dionne-Odom serves as the chief of Women’s Health Services for UAB’s 1917 Clinic, with expertise and knowledge about infections that impact pregnant women and women living in the United States and Africa. She can speak to viral infections such as Zika and parasitic infections such as malaria, their impact on pregnant women and their babies, as well as on HIV prevention and treatment in this at-risk population.
