The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the C. Glenn Cobbs Endowed Support Fund in Infectious Diseases during its meeting June 14, 2013. Cobbs is professor emeritus in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine and offered founding leadership to the Division of Infectious Diseases.
