The UAB Campus Recreation Center will offer a youth day camp on Presidents Day, Feb. 18, 2013, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The theme is rock climbing and campers will spend the day learning age-appropriate climbing techniques that include the basics of belaying, knots, body movement and more.
The camp is available for children ages 5 to 12. The cost is $30 for UAB students, faculty and staff and $40 for those not affiliated with UAB. Before- and after-camp care is available for $5.
