The UAB School of Medicine Student Senate is hosting its annual Skit Night fundraiser at the historic Alabama Theatre, 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011. Proceeds from the event will support creation of an endowment for Equal Access Birmingham (EAB), a non-profit student-run organization that provides free health care to the under-served in the Birmingham area.
Skit Night has been a time-honored tradition at medical schools across the country, highlighting the individual talents and creativity of students. The show is open to the public; tickets are $10 in advance online, $5 for all students. Donations for this cause are also accepted online.
