Franklin N. Tessler, M.D., has been appointed senior vice chair for operations and division director of diagnostic radiology in the Department of Radiology at UAB. In this position he will oversee and coordinate the operational activities of the department at UAB Hospital, The Kirklin Clinic and UAB Highlands. Tessler also is vice chair for radiology informatics. He has been on faculty since 2002.
