John Hansen, Ph.D., and Kenneth Miller, Ed.D., both in the Department of Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics in the UAB Collat School of Business, have been appointed to head the UAB Center for Sales Leadership.
The center, created in 2006, is the only center for excellence in the school. The center allows students to complete a 12-hour Advanced Sales Certificate program that provides for them a key differential advantage in the job market. Hansen is recognized widely as a leader in sales-related scholarship. Miller has 30 years of sales experience in the private sector as the owner of a food-brokerage company.
