The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Jennifer L. Kilgo, Ed.D., as University Professor in Early Childhood Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) during its meeting Feb. 8, 2013. Kilgo earned her master’s degree in education from UAB in 1979 and joined the faculty of the School of Education in 1995. She has maintained continuous funding in the area of early childhood special education since 2000, and she has undertaken cross-disciplinary work with the schools of Nursing and Health Professions.
Kilgo also works with the schools of Nursing and Health Professions.
