The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed David Allison, Ph.D., distinguished professor of biostatistics in the UAB School of Public Health during its meeting Feb. 4, 2011. Allison earned his Ph.D. from Hofstra University and has been a member of the UAB faculty since 2001.
