Commissioned by the BMA, the to-scale replica of its newly remodeled galleries is a tool to help curators plan exhibitions and more. It was used for the upcoming Jan. 28 exhibition “Third Space /shifting conversations about contemporary art.”
Angel will take over a small gallery as workspace to create the large lobby installation “Facing the Hyperstructure” in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences’ Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, with assistance from AEIVA staff and Department of Art and Art History students.
