Neuroscience symposium set at UAB

bevill_biomedical_building_1UAB will host the 2011 Bevill Conference on Cognition and Cognitive Disorders on Oct. 4, 2011.  The symposium brings national leaders in the field of neuroscience to discuss the latest breakthroughs in understanding basic mechanisms underlying cognition and devastating cognitive disorders.

Speakers from Mt. Sinai Medical School, the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, San Francisco, will join UAB presenters at 7:30 p.m. in the Children’s Harbor Bradley Lecture Center, 1600 Sixth Ave. South.
