UAB, UAH student groups to host sustainability debate

Student groups will question the role the government plays in sustaining the environment April 8.

sustainability debateJoin a debate about the roles of state and federal government in the areas of food security, property rights, clean air and water, and sustainability at “Sustaining Liberty: Free Markets and the Environment” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Blazer Hall, 920 16th St. South.

The event is hosted by UAB’s Young Americans for Liberty and the University of Alabama at Huntsville’s Chargers for Sustainability. Featured panelists include former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, who ran for president in 2012.
