Engineering 2018: CAD Design and 3D Printing camp

Welcome to the future of design and product development. Be ready for fun and exciting camp experiences through hands-on project-based learning.

Design and develop products from hand sketch to physical model with 3-D printing. Campers will learn basic concepts of product design and development on paper, then bring it to life with modern 3-D printing. Students will work in teams of two and a 3-D printer will be assigned for each team throughout the camp. Students will learn 3-D printers and 3-D printing basics. Using computer-aided design software such as Autodesk and SolidWorks campers will design 3-D objects and artifacts for various project. Throughout this exciting summer camp, the students will turn their ideas into reality as they learn and have fun.
