Does your child have an interest in science? If not, would you like to pique your child's interest? CORD Middle School Summer Science Camps are designed for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students providing an excellent opportunity to experience hands on science. Designed by UAB scientist, each camp facilitates future learning in science and mathematics.
For summer 2023, ArtPlay musical theater camps will present “Seussical, Jr.,” “The Magic Treehouse: Pirates Past Noon Kids” and “Mean Girls, Jr.”
ArtPlay’s award-winning visual arts camps are a chance to get creative — and maybe just a little messy — with classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts and more. Join local teaching artists as they guide students through the basics of color, shape and design. Each day is a new project with lots of new creations. At the end of camp, the artists will present their own creations in an art gallery for invited family and friends in the historic ArtPlay House in Five Points South.
