The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Liver Center will host “Liver U – Straight Talk for Your Health” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at The Baptist Church at McAdory, 4954 Eastern Valley Road, McCalla.

 

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Liver Center will host "Liver U - Straight Talk for Your Health" from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11 at The Baptist Church at McAdory, 4954 Eastern Valley Road, McCalla.

The discussion topic for the event will be "50 Ways to Love Your Liver," a community and patient education event for prevention of liver disease. UAB Liver Center Nurse Practitioner Tracey Gwaltney, C.R.N.P., will discuss nutrition, vaccination and living with and prevention of liver disease.
