BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Forty-three students have been selected for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Science and Technology Honors Program 2010 freshman class.
The UAB Science and Technology Honors Program offers courses in research and laboratory methods and opportunities for hands-on research that prepare students for graduate study. Students can earn graduate credit, and those who complete the program are guaranteed a two-year scholarship for any UAB science and technology doctoral program. The scholarship covers tuition and fees. Up to 50 students are selected for the program each year.
