Alumna Theeck receives the 2016 AANP Alabama Clinical Excellence Award

University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing alumna Elizabeth Theeck, CRNP, FNP-BC, has earned the 2016 American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Alabama Clinical Excellence Award.
The mission of AANP is to lead nurse practitioners (NPs) in transforming patient-centered health care.
Theeck is an urgent and primary care NP at Wetumpka Urgent Care in Deatsville, Alabama Theeck was nominated for the award by her collaborating physician, Lee Aldrich, MD, who lauded her for her dedication, enthusiasm and extraordinary procedural and diagnostic skills.
Theeck will receive this award at the AANP National Conference in San Antonio, Texas, held from June 21-26, 2016.
Theeck earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from the UAB School of Nursing in 2014.
