Beginning May 2016, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing will be moving to the UAB Graduate School application ApplyYourself (AY) for those applying to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Accelerated Master’s in Nursing Pathways (AMNP) programs for Summer 2017 and beyond. The School of Nursing will no longer be using the NursingCAS application portal for application collection for these programs.
Potential students applying to the MSN and DNP programs for Summer 2017 cycles should apply online using the ApplyYourself application beginning June 2016. The Fall 2017 semester application application will open mid-Summer 2016. The Nurse Anesthesia (Post BSN to DNP) for the Summer 2017 semester began collecting applications through ApplyYourself in late May 2016.
The Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD) program will continue to use NursingCAS for applications for the Fall 2017 semester.
