University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing Nurse Anesthesia student Margaret Hunt has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from The Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists (ALANA). The ALANA offers two scholarships each year to exceptional students enrolled in Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesia programs in the state of Alabama.Hunt applied for the scholarship with a detailed essay describing her aspirations as a future nurse anesthetist. She will complete the program in December 2016.
Hunt will be honored at the recognition luncheon for scholarship recipients at the Annual Congress of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists in Washington, D.C. on September 12, 2016.
