Training the next generation of cancer physicians and scientists is critical to the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center’s vision of eliminating cancer as a public health concern. Our education and training programs inspire a continuum of cancer researchers – beginning in middle school, and spanning undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, residents and fellows.
The O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center's Cancer Training & Career Development Office supports young investigators through student travel awards, letters of support from the Cancer Center and various programs throughout the year. Our trainees gain exposure to the latest avenues in cancer research, cutting-edge facilities and diverse patient populations.
Check out our upcoming education and training seminars, or subscribe to the Cancer Training & Career Development Office's weekly young investigator newsletter for updates and opportunities related to young invesigators.
