The Gastrointestinal Multi-disciplinary clinic and new Bone Marrow Transplant patients are seen in the Whitaker Clinic. In March 2019, the Genetics clinic will move to the Whitaker Clinic.

Proton International at UAB
Proton International, in conjunction with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, will open Alabama’s first proton therapy facility in January 2020. Proton therapy uses highly precise proton beams instead of traditional X-rays to attack tumors.
