The admission requirements for UAB Finish are the same as UAB, but students have to transfer credits coming in.

Are all my classes online?

If you are participating in a 100% online degree program, than all of your courses will be online. UAB offers some programs that are blended (on-campus and online) or distance accessible. These programs may require you to come to the UAB campus. The advisor for your chosen program can help you understand any on-campus requirements and assist you in making other arrangements, if possible.

How do I register for classes?

Once you are admitted to UAB, you will be contacted by an advisor and they will go over how to register for classes, as well as answer any questions you may have about the degree program requirements.

How much will it cost?

Tuition cost varies depending on programs, but UAB’s tuition is affordable compared to surrounding universities and colleges. Visit the Tuition & Fees page to learn more general information. Once you have decided on a program, that program advisor can provide additional information about other fees that may be required.

Will I ever have to come to the campus?

Yes. You will be able to have contact with your professors via phone, email, and possibly virtual chat.

What software do I need to complete my classes?
