Dr. Brian Roberts is a native of Clearwater, Florida. He graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s in Vision Science and a Doctorate of Optometry. Since then, he completed a residency at Nova in Primary Eye Care with an emphasis in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. His past clinical experience includes rotations in neuro-ophthamology and pediatric ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, strabismus/amblyopia clinic, sports vision clinic, and glaucoma and macular disease advanced care clinics. Dr. Roberts completed his internships at the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute working with retina, cornea, and oculoplastics specialists, and at Dr. Richard Sorkin’s private practice specializing in pediatric optometry and vision therapy.

He has volunteered with the Florida Low Vison Initiative performing eye exams on the pediatric low vision population in Jacksonville, Florida, at NSU Athletic Sports Vison Screenings performing vision screenings on NSU athletes and at the Special Olympics Opening Eyes performing “deconstructed” eye exams on athletes.
