Individual Development Plans

The Individual Development Plan (IDP) is a valuable tool for the mentor and postdoc.  It's purpose is to state expectations and monitor the progress of a postdoc's research project, as well as describing career goals and objectives.  The IDP is required to be completed within the first 30 days of a postdoc's appointment. Three months following the drafting of the IDP, mentors are expected to formally review the postdoc's research training progress.
