The Department of Anesthesiology seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow. An NIH supported infectious disease laboratory seeks a virologist with knowledge of in vivo systems of infection and the ability to work with Select Agents in biocontainment for experimental studies of microbiome, pulmonary disease pathogenesis and respiratory infection. Experience with viral cultures and molecular and cell biology training will be strongly considered. This academic position is expected to provide continued training for those interested in the transition to scientific independence. Manuscript preparation, publication, and scientific interaction with multiple academic groups within the medical center are key components of the position.
