Wouldn't it mean something to share your UAB experience—and all the good feelings you have about this institution—with a young friend or family member who is navigating the difficult process of choosing a college?
The Refer a Future Blazer Program is designed to give UAB employees and alumni the information you need to support a high school senior who may be considering UAB. Regardless of how much you may know—or not know—about our undergraduate programs, we're here to help.
All you have to do is brush up on a few facts about the undergraduate experience and fill out the form below with your name and your prospective student's name. The Office of Admissions will take care of the rest.
If your referred high school senior enrolls for the Fall 2024 semester, a one-time $250 scholarship will be posted to the student's account when all other scholarships are disbursed. To be eligible for this scholarship, your student must be referred by May 1 prior to the fall term of their enrollment at UAB.
While not designated for a particular use, the $250 will function as a credit to the student's account. The funds will post to the student's account at or around the first day of classes.
