A group of artists that includes UAB Department of Art and Art History Assistant Professor Doug Baulos has nearly completed its first mural in a public space on First Avenue South between 55th Place and 55th Street. The sign is a retro tribute to a 1950s slogan that has been resurrected by the city's fans and proponents.
Balous says there are plans underway to create more throughout the city. More information about the new mural here.
