Fans of the reinstated UAB Football team can place a deposit for season tickets on the UAB Athletics website now at uabsports.com or make a contribution through Blazer Boosters.
Season tickets can be secured for a non-refundable deposit of $25 each, said UAB Associate Athletic Director Brad Hardekopf. When the official season is announced and other details are finalized, buyers will be invoiced for the balance per ticket reserved, he said.
Supporters who previously placed deposits through the UAB Football Foundation earlier do not currently need to re-enroll on the UAB Athletics site. A process to transfer those tickets to UAB Athletics is being resolved and will be communicated, Hardekopf said.
“We have an incredible opportunity to build on the momentum of recent months and demonstrate that strong alumni and community support for the Blazers is here to stay,” Hardekopf said. “Ideally, season ticket sales that approach 10,000 will help demonstrate that competitive collegiate football in Birmingham is both desirable and sustainable.”
