"This will be a monumental day for UAB and we are excited to share it with the city of Birmingham and our fans," Director of Athletics Mark Ingram said. "The new facility has completely transformed the northwest entrance to campus and is a great representation of the support this community has shown for our football program."
The ceremony will be an opportunity to celebrate with UAB Football coaches, student-athletes, university administrators and the generous donors who made this project a reality. Afterward, guided tours of the facility will be available.
“We have already seen the tremendous benefits that the Football Operations Center provides, and we couldn’t be happier to call this the home of UAB Football,” Head Coach Bill Clark said. “This is a special day for the Greater Birmingham area and would not have been possible without the extraordinary support of our donors.”
Parking will be available in Express Lot 2 and Lot 15C for the event.
