In 1968, Anita Sellers, secretary in the Office of Communications, posed with the new campus directory. The 6-by-9-inch, 96-page booklet included an alphabetical listing of all staff and an administrative listing of offices and programs.
The last printed campus directory, more than 570 pages long, was released in 2009. All staff and office listings are now available online at uab.edu/directory and requires a BlazerID and password to log in — part of UAB Information Technology’s efforts to protect employees against spam and phishing.
