Faculty mentors wanted for Beckman Scholars program

Written by

mentorUAB received an institutional invitation from the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation to submit a competing renewal for its Beckman Scholars grant.

Faculty who are mentoring undergraduate research in biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, chemistry, neuroscience and related disciplines are invited to submit materials to be considered as mentors for UAB's competing renewal. Ten to 15 funded faculty mentors will be selected.

Funded faculty whose mentees have conference presentations and/or published papers are especially encouraged to submit a Mentor Data Form and a modified three-page CV by July 1.

Information about the Beckman Scholars program and a list of faculty mentors selected in the first grant process is online.
