Teens ages 14-17 and one parent or guardian needed for TRIP study

The Translational Research for Injury Prevention (TRIP) Lab is looking for teens aged 14-17 and one parent/guardian to participate in a study to help UAB researchers understand more about self-driving vehicles. Participation for eligible teens and parents will include a single appointment located on the UAB campus with several different activities including questionnaires, computer tasks, and driving in a driving simulator. Participants will also be asked to complete a series of at-home pre-appointment questionnaires. The in-person lab session associated with the study is expected to last no longer than 2 hours. Parents and teens will each be compensated $50 each for participation. COVID screenings and precautions will be performed.
