The Neuroinflammation, Pain, and Fatigue laboratory at UAB is looking for participants for a study investigating the effects of a new study medication on the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. We are looking for women aged 23-65 who are diagnosed with Fibromyalgia or are experiencing widespread bodily pain and/or profound fatigue on a daily basis. Participants will come to UAB for 6 study visits over a five-month period, take the study medication as prescribed, and complete 4 blood draws. You will be compensated up to $550 for completing all 6 visits. The data may help us identify new treatment options for fibromyalgia. If you are experiencing extreme tiredness and fatigue even after your cancer treatment ends, you may be eligible to participate in a new mind/body research study. To qualify for this study, you must be a Stage II, Stage III or Stage IV cancer survivor who has completed all cancer treatment at least 6 months ago and within the last 10 years.
