Women experiencing overactive bladder symptoms who have not been helped by behavioral therapy and medical therapy or have not tolerated medical therapy and desire further evaluation may be eligible for a new study. HydrA is a UAB Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery study that compares Botox® bladder injections to Botox® bladder injections with hydrodistention (filling of the bladder with sterile water for 5 minutes prior to the botox injection) to help reduce overactive bladder symptoms.
