UAB faculty and staff are needed as volunteers at our vaccination sites. In addition to employees and faculty, UAB Medicine is asking leaders to organize an effort within their areas of responsibility to redeploy a team of employees and encourage their spouses, adult children, friends and neighbors to volunteer as a team of up to 20 volunteers.
From the links below, clinical volunteers will be directed to a separate sign-up location, and non-clinical volunteers will be assigned to the following tasks:

Registration – Verify that the person presenting matches person on the schedule

Vaccination Assistants – Assist clinical staff with the vaccination process, such as preparing CDC cards and verifying consent forms

Runners – Obtain patient information, distribute consent forms, and other related duties
