Andrzej Kulczycki, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Health Care Organization and Policy, is editor of the new Critical Issues in Reproductive Health book. Kulczycki wrote four of the 15 chapters in the book.

Written by an interdisciplinary team of researchers and professionals who span the field, this book covers a number of cross-cutting themes for the reproductive health field. It provides a comprehensive collection of papers that address critical issues in reproductive health; identifies research, policy and practice gaps and priorities; and illustrates innovative solutions to these challenges using a rich and varied set of cases.

The book aims to enhance interest and enlighten scientific, policy and programmatic dialogue on reproductive health, Kulczycki said.

“This new book transcends the limitations of existing books on reproductive health, which tend to be dated, singular in their perspective on what is a multifaceted field, and advocacy- rather than scholar-oriented,” he said.

Critical Issues in Reproductive Health is available now through Springer Books.
