Carol Kim, vice president for research and dean of the Graduate School for the University of Maine, will be the final of four candidates for the position of vice president of Research to present.

Inmates at Donaldson Correctional Facility write and perform a serial drama about life in a maximum-security prison with some assistance from UAB professors who have led an annual lecture series there for decades. It debuts Oct. 22 on WJLD.

Employees who enroll in a UAB health plan during open enrollment Oct. 28-Nov. 14 also will be enrolled in Express Scripts pharmacy beginning Jan. 1, 2017. Co-pays for prescriptions will not change.
