A representative from Lynda.com will lead two workshops this week for employees interested in learning about the free Lynda membership benefit.
“Develop and Empower Your Team with Lynda.com,” a lunch and learn for UAB leaders and managers, is scheduled noon-1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in Medical Towers Room 419A.
An open house for all Lynda-eligible employees will be held 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in Medical Towers Room 418. The topic is “Getting the Most out of Your Lynda.com Membership.”
UAB Learning & Development provides to all benefit-eligible faculty and staff with access to Lynda.com, an online learning platform with more than 5,000 video courses in business, software, technology, creative skills and more.
Attendance is limited to 50 people. Lunch will be provided for attendees of the Nov. 15 event; registration is required via uab.edu/learning system. No registration is required for the Nov. 16 open house.
