A statewide election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 2. UAB Hospital, UAB Highlands and all of UAB Medicine encourage employees to vote. Voting hours are such that most employees may vote either before or after work.

Per UAB policy, if for some reason that is not possible, supervisors may allow employees to be up to two hours late in arriving to work or leave up to two hours early. Employees should request permission to be away during their normal scheduled work shift. Supervisors/managers can determine whether or not the employee's request can be approved.
