Symposium for DHARS

The 2nd annual DHARS Symposium was held May 18, 2018, in Birmingham. The theme of the event was “Optimizing Health, Function and Participation in Children and Adults with Disabilities.”

  • Ken Ottenbacher. OT, PhD - Professor & Director, Rehabilitation Sciences; Professor, Interal Medicine; Professor, Occupational Therapy; University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas.
  • Pamela Duncan, PT, PhD - Professor, Neurology, Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine; Wake Forest School of Medicine, Wake Forest, North Carolina.

In addition to three keynotes from top experts, the daylong symposium included in-depth panel discussions and student research posters.
