Myron FottlerMyron D. Fottler, Ph.D.The PhD program is excited to announce the Myron D. and Carol A. Fottler, PhD Program in Administration-Health Services Endowed Support Fund. Dr. Myron Fottler was a Program Director for the PhD Administration Health Services Program for 15 years, leaving in 1999 for a job at the University of Central Florida. He retired and became an Emeritus member of the UCF Faculty in 2012.

Dr. Fottler wanted to give back to the program that was such a large part of his career and where he knows students will benefit from such a fund. This is the first endowed scholarship for the PhD in Administration-Health Services program and was set up to support students with tuition, travel fees associated with professional development, or for costs associated with publishing as a sole author or first author.

“I am extremely grateful, humbled and honored to receive the inaugural Myron D. and Carol A. Fottler PhD Program in Administration-Health Services scholarship. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Fottler and his wife for this generous endowment that will help me and many others,” said Lord. “My hope is that one day, I will have the opportunity to pay this forward and help other students achieve their academic goals, just as this scholarship has helped me.”
