Haiyan Qu, Ph.D, teaches quantitative research method course in M.S. in Health Administration Programs (Residential) and M.S. in Health Informatics Program. She currently is an investigator and methodologist for several research projects that are being conducted to address environmental and behavioral factors affecting multi-stakeholders’ treatment decision-making.

Dr. Qu’s research interests include patient-centered outcomes research, health disparities, rehabilitation care, quality of care, medication adherence, and shared decision-making. She has published articles in Journal of General Internal Medicine, Academic Medicine, American Journal of Health Behavior, Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, The Journal of Rheumatology, and American Journal of Transplantation. She has served as a grant reviewer for Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute since 2013.

Dr. Qu is currently a consulting editor of the Patient Preference and Adherence.
