Research

I’d like to focus on researching nutraceuticals and understanding the health benefits to particular foods, most specifically rhizomes (ginger and turmeric).

What made you decide to pursue a Ph.D.?

I have chosen to pursue a Ph.D. because I have clinical questions I want to find the answers to, as well as a desire to continue my career in academia. I love teaching and mentoring students.

Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?

I enjoy sailing and snowboarding and am an amateur foodie.
