Mobile SimOn Tuesday, October 19 the UAB Clinical Simulation-Mobile Simulation team took their newly acquired mobile sim lab on the road for its first inaugural visit to Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama. The Mobile Simulation Lab is a joint project between the Alabama Rural Health Collaborative and SimUAB®, a component of UAB Clinical Simulation which brings advanced simulation training directly to health care professions around the state. This full-day event gave Northwest Medical Center's staff and leadership the opportunity to board this “one of a kind” lab for a showcase, highlighting the features, equipment, and training it can provide. Thoughts and ideas were shared among both teams about how mobile simulation could best serve the needs of Northwest Medical Center's various specialties.

The Mobile Sim team would like to give a special thank you to Michael Windham - Chief Executive Officer, Mari Rogers - Chief Nursing Officer, Sue Clark - Education Director, Jason Stuckey, MD - Chief of Staff, Dianna Junkin - Northwest Medical Center Board of Trustees, Tracy Estes - House District 17 State Representative, and all the other wonderful staff who worked effortlessly to make this event a success.
